This our best chance at Anfield since 85/86?
i fucking think so!

i'm hoping for goals from either Downing or Carroll to shove it to the fucking midget cunt Rodgers & the Black Frankie Mac Sakho to notch one.

2 nil to us.

This is great for us, Rotund Samuel must be licking his lips at the FATigue there'll be in the Scouse team.

I want them to lose this, it took me weeks to get over the semi final defeat at the Brummies, mind you I doubt they'll have the police van wing mirrors, flying over their heads, the CS gas, the coinage and the 2 hour police escort back to New Street that we had to contend with...

Never gonna have a better chance now tonight's Chelsea/Liverpool game has gone to extra time.

Surely BFS has to play his strongest 11 and go for an early goal. Make them scouse cunts chase the game for once and leave space at the back for Sakho and Downing to exploit.

Heartening that although our performances have not been great if late we are still picking up results just about. Think this one may be a step too far though seeing as they have hit a bit of form of late. Only thing in our favour is they play another big game tonight away at Chelsea. Fingers crossed for extra time.

I'm going for a 1-0 defeat though.

Not convinced we're playing well enough to get anything.

Re: This our best chance at Anfield since 85/86?
on paper yes, however in reality, regardless of a hectic fixture list, and dodgy form, the dippers will pull " a worldY' out of the back and coutinhio and Markovic will dance around our leaden footed midfield - why would this year be different to any other years , especially in our current " play a decent half'/dont turn up this half" form ..

Sturridge's comeback game - he'll score.

I hope so. I also hope they don't have Sturridge back or you know potentially Balotelli will nick too.

Still going for a 1-2. Looking forward to this trip.

If BFS picks the formation that he started against Hull and Bristol City, just to accommodate Nolan again , we will lose

It probably is, although our form seems to have tailed off slightly since Christmas.

Hope we can put in a god performance!

Re: This our best chance at Anfield since 85/86?
Seen us draw up there couple times, 2-2 was the one we should have won.
I can only see another loss on Saturday, we're only playing well in patches atmo and I imagine it'll be 2 nil defeat.

If we play like we have recently it will be the same outcome as always. Their cup tie tonight and the Bolton replay next week should work in our favour.

I went there towards the end of the redknapp era...we lost 3 nil.

It was shit...however, i was sat in the corporate section next to ian st john.

At the drinks after he was only interested in talking to me and one other as we were west ham season ticket holders and the rest were all southern liverpool supporters.

Anfield is a cuntfest and i would love to thrash them saturday

1-02-1 certainly is odd.

This thread has become annual. Look forward to next year's.
